Exchanges & Returns

Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from The Cottage Girl By Alaina. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

If for any reason you are not satisfied, we have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on limited-releases, sale items, or gift cards. Please make sure to read through the 'Product Information' section under each item to see if it is ineligible for a return prior to your purchase. 

 

To initiate a return, please contact us and provide your order number. We will provide you with instructions on how to return your item. We do not cover the cost of shipping labels for returns or exchanges. Once we receive your returned item, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. Please contact us if you have any questions. 

 

If you would like to exchange your item, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

 

Please note that not all items are subject to return, exchange, and/or refund.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
